Honor Canon

Founded in 2017, Our Scripted Life was created from a love of beautiful paper, meaningful details, and the art of calligraphy. What began as a passion for handwritten design has grown into a full-service creative studio offering bespoke wedding invitations, calligraphy, engraving, personalized stationery, and thoughtfully crafted details for life’s most meaningful occasions.

Based in Houston, I work closely with clients to create timeless, personal pieces that elevate celebrations both large and small. From elegant invitation suites to live engraving events and custom keepsakes, every design is created with intention, artistry, and a focus on meaningful connection.

I am detail-oriented, reliable and timely, yet, I have an artist’s eye for beauty and expression. I strive to honor my clients’ wishes and capture their essence so that every aspect of their project portrays them.

When not creating with two doodles curled up at my feet, I love to hang out with my family (including my husband of 27 years and 20 year-old triplets). I love spending time outdoors or playing tennis or pickleball.
